Creative Minds and ADHD
Supporting creative minds in a corporate world
I developed my Straight Lines and Scribbles concept after a long career in HR supporting people across all functions. It recognises the value of different thinking and working styles, and shows that when people lean into their strengths, they thrive and performance improves.
Many creatives think in scribbled lines, generating endless possibilities. This fuels innovation, but can also make it harder to prioritise and decide what to focus on first.
With growing awareness of neurodiversity, particularly ADHD, many of my clients recognise traits in themselves. This understanding often explains why certain aspects of corporate life feel challenging and highlights where the right support can make a real difference.
Having supported many neurodivergent thinkers, I provide practical coaching and scaffolding that helps creatives to:
Stay focused and motivated in high-pressure environments
Manage overwhelm and find balance
Articulate their value, communicating clearly and confidently
Build systems and processes that work with their brains, not against them
I help create environments where different ways of thinking and working thrive, boosting company performance

Why organisations choose me
Bridging creativity and business performance
I’m an ICF-accredited coach with over 15 years’ experience as a senior HR leader within creative industries.
Throughout my career I’ve:
Led people and culture strategies in fast-paced creative organisations
Built high-performing, engaged teams
Supported leaders through growth, change and transformation
Delivered award-winning workplace cultures, including Great Place to Work recognition
Coaching is often offered to senior leaders in businesses for its power to optimise performance, improve leadership skills, enhance personal confidence and deepen effective relationships.
Too often, this investment does not extend to the creative professionals who have unique challenges in being understood and making an impact. As AI continues to create uncertainty across the creative industry, investing in your people will help keep them focused, agile and engaged.
Through my relatable and informal style, I bridge the gap between creativity and commercial success, ensuring your people are supported, aligned and performing at their best.
